Your furbaby's safety is of utmost importance to My Vet Doggy Daycare. It is crucial that My Vet Doggy Daycare's Safety Policy is adhere to at all times. Kindly note, our Safety Policy below forms part of our booking terms and conditions.

My Vet Doggy Daycare Safety Policy

All dogs must provide written proof of current vaccinations and must show proof of expiration dates. The required vaccination is C5.

All dogs older than 7 months must be spayed or neutered unless they have a letter of exemption from the veterinarian. Puppies under 7 months are exempted from doing so. As a minimum, all dogs must be older than 3 months to be able to receive dog daycare. Dogs must be in good health and free from fleas, ticks, heartworm, and intestinal parasites.

Prior to receiving any dog daycare services, My Vet Doggy Daycare requires that all dogs undergo an assessment with one of our staff. The purpose of the assessment is to evaluate the temperament of your dog. This will allow us to ensure that he or she can adapt to a cage-free environment and does not show any risk to other dogs or to him or herself. The assessment also enables us to analyse how we can better serve your dog, and in which dogs’ group he or she belongs to.

Clients must inform My Vet Doggy Daycare about any aggressive behaviour their dog might have had in the past towards other pets or humans. No dog owners are allowed to stay and watch their dogs playing inside the dog daycare. We hold this policy for the safety of the pets.

All dogs that come to My Vet Doggy Daycare must have collars with their name tags (and owner’s contact details) and be on a leash. Clients are not allowed to bring personal items while staying at the dog daycare. All clients must provide their dog’s own food and medications.

If you are an existing My Vet Waterloo and Zetland clients who have previously downloaded this app, you do not need to download the app again in order to schedule appointments or chat with My Vet Doggy Daycare. Similarly, My Vet Doggy Daycare clients can use the app to make appointments at My Vet Waterloo or Zetland.
